What You Need to Register
Most states require: your full legal name, date of birth, current address, and one of: a state-issued driver’s license/ID number, or the last 4 digits of your Social Security number.
If you have neither, you can register with a current utility bill, bank statement, government document, or paycheck showing your name and address.
Already Registered? Check Your Status
If you have moved since your last election, you must update your registration. Your old polling place may not be valid. Visit vote.gov/register to verify your registration status in any state.
